Location of the Little Conestoga Watershed

The Little Conestoga river is also part of the larger Susquehanna and Chesapeake Bay watersheds. Our watershed is in the eastern section of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed and the central-western portion of Lancaster County.

The Little Conestoga Watershed covers 65.5 square miles.

The Little Conestoga Watershed picks up drainage from 12 municipalities in western Lancaster County.

It picks up flows from Bachman Run, Swarr Run Brubaker Run, Miller’s Run, Indian Run, and the West Branch before joining the Conestoga River in Manor Township.
